Our small publishing house is based on our home which is situated in the townland of Ballinakillew, rather than retain the aggressive sound of the original when naming the new house, Hugh & Grania changed it to Ballinakella.

Since we started, due to our personal involvement, we have concentrated on books of Irish topographical, genealogical and historical content. We have also produced an excellent little book for children and young-at-heart adults in Spanish and English (parallel translation); 'Trapa', illustrated by son Tomás, is about children who have an adventure in Ireland and Spain.
